Non-Phone, Work Anytime! No longer hiring. Posted for informational purposes.

This employer on Odesk is no longer hiring.

I'm keeping this post up just for information in case they start hiring again in the future.

Ok, here it is!  

ODesk Non-Phone job.

If you are not familiar with ODesk, it is a website that allows companies and individuals to hire contractors for either a fixed or hourly rate.  ODesk does collect a fee from your rate for contracting through their site.

I am currently working as a Remote Research Specialist on ODesk.

They are actively hiring.  You will need to sign up on ODesk first, then you must search for Remote Research Specialist and apply from there.

Job Description

We are an information services company currently seeking candidates for a research and data entry position. Qualified candidates will have full-time availability, a keen ability to work within a given set of guidelines and excellent online research skills.

Job tasks will include the following:
1. Mastering a set of proprietary data entry software tools
2. Reading/learning editorial and business rules to ensure high quality data entry
3. Capturing information from a variety of publicly available sources including news articles and websites

To qualify for the position, applicants must:
1. Commit to working 30-40 hours per week (with some flexibility)
2. Have experience with online researching

Upon interview, candidates will be asked to:
1. Complete an intake form
2. Complete a paid quiz, which highlights online research aptitude, with an acceptable score
3. Move on to our Research Boot Camp, which includes thorough training
4. Meet or exceed quality and efficiency standards during Research Boot Camp 

Please notice that you must work at least 30 hours per week.  You also must maintain quality and performance while you are working.  

I love this job since I can work it around my other part time job, appointments and other things that come up.
